And the half-roasted villain finishes age-old villain models with a single punch and enables a crucial revelation in a novel way. In the meantime, Gurchand demotivates the narrator from betraying his capabilities. In the background, Salaar teaches a vital lesson to bring back the demotivation of those players caused by imprisoning the narrator. A formal, over-dramatic interval bang finally arrives which could have arrived at least in the final moments to raise the expectations sky-high for the second half. 15 players unite to stand by their head coach in the kidnapping investigation. Their principles include their victory. At the same time, the coach reveals about Salaar’s secret adventure, and the questions arrive to know who Salaar actually is. Prabhas showcases one among such characters in Salaar. The second half progresses until the ultimate phase of emotional love drama is top-notch. Meanwhile, Jagapathi Babu, who knows about Salaar, targets Salaar’s friend and plans to eliminate him by using Salaar. However, visibly, Salaar is something more than what he appears to be. The subsequent investigation reveals that a police informer’s daughter is brutally dealt with. Alongside, it is learnt that the informer is kidnapped with a cash ransom from Gurchand’s side. Although reluctantly, he couldn’t strictly oppose Salaar’s partnership. These episodes set a chain of events and could have been presented in a much more appealing manner. The director spends some time changing the common perception of a hero among the lead character of Salaar. Gurchand finally threatens to eliminate the head coach after determining his capabilities. Gurchand’s character is similar to that of Kabir Singh rather than a baddie.

The movie plot unfurls at a rapid pace and there are no dull moments. The scene locations are stunning and there is an abundant display of stunning cinematography. Prashanth Neel presents Prabhas in a never-before-seen avatar. The first half of the film is dedicated to showcasing the lead hero’s rebel character. There are a few mass elevation action sequences in the first half. The romantic portions between Prabhas and Shruti Haasan are presented appealingly. It avoids the typical sentimental family background of the lead pair. Many episodes undoubtedly raise the cinema hall’s roar with loud cheers. All the villains in the film except the main villain Gurchand are presented comically. The first half perfectly sets the stage for a boxing tournament that will happen in the second half. However, there isn’t anything best in the interval bang. However, the final sequences of the first half hint at a strong climax. The entertaining narration establishes that strong anticipation which urges us to stay connected throughout the intermission to be seen in the second half.

The major credit for the film should go to the whole technical team starting from the technical director, cinematographers, the amazing sound mixing, and the amazing CGI work that they gave. All CG shots were nearly perfect. It was difficult to find the errors and distinguish between what was real and unreal. From the skin lines of the creatures to the model work, it was just fabulous. They deserve huge appreciation for their follow-up short time for their achievement. The final note for their respect in technology came with an extraordinary camera movement by capturing the huge movie in a single shot. You will not believe that it was a single shot, but finally our jaws will be hanging. So kudos to the film’s making.
