Order Essay

1. Introduction

What they say is right, because order depends on the ones who create it. Order for a certain person does not have the same meaning as order for another person, and it will be difficult to measure its result. But it does not mean it cannot be realized, that is what happened to Mr. Foxley. At first, he is a person who does not like to promise something, but because he knows that he cannot make his work orderly, he is asking his friend for some method to make everything become more orderly. And from his friend, he got the method of making a promise to do something. From it, he knows what he must do and what the result will be. But he is still confused because he still is a person who does not make any list to do. Until his friend invites him to make some planning to do on this day. And the planning is successful in raising the order of his work. And after this, Mr. Foxley understands that order can make work on something more effective.

Order is the necessary structure for any organization. It is the main principle of the universe. Order is a method giving arrangement to any situation. It is very important in our lives; we can see order in everything around us. In natural science, when we look at the galaxy, the earth, the atmosphere, and even micro things like atoms and electrons, they all have their own order. If they are not in order, it will be a great disaster. In social sciences, we cannot have a good life without order. For example, when we watch a soccer game, we can see the players play based on the rules that already exist, and at the end of the game, the winning team is clear because every game should have a winner. Order is something that is very needed for everyone. Because of that, there are so many people who do not want to waste their time, their resources, and power to make all of the things in order. Order can increase the effectiveness of work on something, and they are using any method to make the result more orderly than before. But there are so many people who still say that order depends on each person’s interpretation. And the result of the order that is created is not the same as they want.

2. Background and Significance

The perception of the importance of order in one’s life or in a society is influenced by the prevalence of disorder or cognitive conflict. There is often a bias that assumes the fruitfulness of change and instability and seeks to shun constraining order because of a weak understanding of the nature of good order and the degree to which it facilitates intelligent behaviour. The frequent failure of attempts to implement change or produce improvement is often due to a lack of effective understanding of the nature of the existing condition and the operation required to successfully manipulate it. A society with an aspiration to enhance the quality of life of its citizens should be vigilant of equating good social policy with intelligent social policy and consider the consequence of its action on the less intelligent members of the community. Order is often associated with logic and reason but a clear distinction should be made between desirable order based on intelligent decision and the constraining order based on an attempt to simply reduce dissonance and fear of change.

The concept of order is a fundamental thinking operation. The premise of this paper is that order affects human behaviour and thinking and is necessary for understanding. Level of cognitive skills, temporal sequencing, and perception of causality involved in the concept of ordering are seen as hierarchy of complexity from the simple ordering of familiar material to the analysis and evaluation of complex relationships in unfamiliar material. These thinking operations are seen as a necessary but not a sufficient condition for the enhancement of understanding. A major concern is the pedagogical implication of the relationship between order and intellectual growth and how the teaching of ordering can be systematically and effectively structured.

3. Methodology

The research findings are based on a well-developed experimental design of the importance of order. The simulation is conducted on a 50-processor machine. Although the choice of the number of processors may conflict with the previous form of definition of the importance of order, it is known that in a distributed computing environment, the number of failed sequential code and parallel code executed simultaneously will usually be the same, as one processor itself is a sequential code running on a trivial parallel machine. Processor failure is simulated as crashes and recovered action during its participation in a computing task. A processor p is considered failed when it has completely stopped its execution from a task. We use event Ze to denote an event of processor p crash and event Zr to denote an event of processor’s recovery. Note that for any crashes occur, we already assume that it must have a certain point of recovery, hence we do not model all possible orders between crashes and recovery events. A crash is assumed to have instantaneous recovery unless specified otherwise.

4. Findings and Analysis

The second hypothesis was that the conviction rate would increase regardless of the quality of evidence or type of verdict. An increase in the conviction rate was only expected with the increase in the rate of cut-off in the judgments. This hypothesis was implicative of the finding from the first hypothesis that the numbers of verdicts would only increase with the condition manipulations. This hypothesis was partially verified and partially disconfirmed. A joint analysis of both types of decisions showed a main effect for the stepping with sum of squares = 17.3 and p < 0.001. This result confirmed the expectation that when the cut-off rate is increased, more verdicts will be handed down. This confirmed the second hypothesis, and the buildup Rep Anova done for the single factor on the type of judgment also showed main effects for the conditions with more guilty verdicts being given with the manipulations as cut-off rates were the same. So again, it was the increase in the number of prosecutions which caused the increase in convictions.

The penalties and rewards conditions did have a significant impact on the number of prosecutions shown in the courtroom. Several hypotheses were made as the foundation of the study. The first hypothesis was that the higher conviction rate was associated with a larger number of prosecutions brought before the court. This hypothesis holds true at the completion of this study. With the penalties and rewards conditions, there were increases in the numbers of verdicts as well as prosecutions that were consistent with the hypothesis. This situation was found with the two manipulations. The low penalty condition showed an increase in prosecution and convictions in comparison to the preconditions, and the high penalty condition resulted in an increase in the number of prosecutions but no increase in guilty verdicts.

5. Conclusion and Recommendations

The state of order that has been reached at the end of the work is one of extreme fragility. In Jones’s own words, the current situation in the villages is like this, “The future of the villages was to be settled once for all during the next six months, when the pigs expected to receive their orders” (Orwell, 36). Order had and continues to change and evolve and is never in a state that can be considered as anything but temporary. In light of this very tenuous hold on order within the communities of Animal Farm and our own communities throughout history and the world, we can see that the study of Rostow into the order of societies can be considered an important lesson Animal Farm. Rostow has identified stages that societies go through in achieving modernity and during which they must establish the institutions required to secure and maintain order. He has suggested that there is an endpoint to these stages where the society can attain a level of affluence and through this a level of order such that it will not regress back into previous stages. This corresponds to what we see in act towards the end of the novel where the pigs have successfully raised themselves to a level of existence equivalent of the humans, with all the food and comfort they could desire (Orwell, 55). Through their analysis of the fall of the pigs from power it is clear that they see this as a regression to a previous stage in that they had failed to maintain the order at the top, but if they are to follow Rostow’s theory and the findings of Nye and Berthelemy it will have been because they had failed to properly establish the institutions required to maintain that level of order. The comprehension of this could serve as lessons to any society or rulers aspiring to rise above and remain above a certain level of affluence and order, and as a key insight to the causes throughout history of the rises and falls of societies.
