1. Introduction

This is a daily planner with a general schedule that doesn’t separate the days of the week. I have included many subjects, and since the file is a Word extension, you are able to have this template customized. Change the colors, the font, the illustrations; erase the ones you don’t want; insert the ones you want. This is a crafty tool meant to be used in the long term, your entire homework educational life, so use it well. Add the planner with the date on it, the front cover page and a back cover page, an eyelet, and it will be the cutest little thing ever. For the schedule area, I have made separate tables for project due dates, research, presentations, tests, homework, and finals. Also, a picture of the month is available, so the main projects would be a lot easier to track.

Today is one of the most important topics ever created for this website: the Girly Cute Homework Planner Template, based on some requests from teachers and students. This one can also be called a student planner or student notebook with a very girly theme. Last year, I created two new templates with the same basis: the Back to School Pack for teachers and the School Pack for students. So, let me say a few words and try to summarize what this planner is all about.

2. Setting Up Your Homework Planner

I recommend a professional printer to print your undated planner, as the printer does a great job of printing spiral bound and making it look professional. In general, there are many ways you can align the vertical and horizontal planner templates (right in the template). It’s always better to test it with an A-4 plain paper that you are no longer using. Once you are satisfied, you save the settings you copy for your planner.

You can simplify the version below or even just print it twice to keep it simple. Use a binder clip or using spiral queens to put the front of this cover in an A-4 sized planner cover and make an adorable matching back cover page using plain white or bright paper of your choice. Once you have your cover, don’t forget to print undated free extras to add to homework planning features.

3. Organizing Your Assignments

PS: You can print as many pages of these as you like depending on how many subjects you take. This layout is designed to have a paper back for every subject, but personally I put back-to-back layouts for 2 subjects on conjugated pages to save up more space. Also, Monday starts on Monday after the first feelings of sadness or regrets. For the monthly and weekly layouts, you can put them into a weekly cover sheet protector to protect them from getting scratched if you carry them around in your backpack, but it’s not mandatory. If heavy carry is a concern, then definitely grab the sheet protectors.

So now to my favorite part of the planner, which is the first thing you will notice when you open it. And my favorite part is the weekly layout section. I created a weekly planner layout for Monday through Friday, as that is when most of the actual school time happens. Weekends are for resting anyway. And on the layout, you will see 3 categories. At the top, I put a place to leave your to-do list. I magnify the most important assignments for the week, and then I leave the biggest space for homework every student has the most. You know, those random 2-3 digit numbers all parachuted on one page. Now you can have them all indexed on one page at each subject, at least for the first few months until everything in your room becomes a mess. So you can check off everything simply by printing these layouts on sticker paper and then sticking these bad boys directly into your notebook. Whenever you open it to do homework, bam, homework list already there. Or if you are more modern than me, just pop these into OneNote. You students these days have way cooler things, but could you please spare the hip electronic things away for like a day and go outside? Just saying.

4. Tracking Your Progress

The “Homework Completed” in the “Homework” tab is designed to help you manage your homework the most. It’s designed to keep you on track when finishing your homework because it allows you to keep close track of all your homework assignments, extra credit, review questions, and more homework to come. All the practical little things that you love to check off your list can be found in the “Homework Completed” table. Your progress towards your homework is going to be all right there in the “Homework Completed” table, so that you would be able to know exactly what you need to study to complete your homework. Knowing what you need to study helps plan when, and based on that, tracking your homework assignment progress is going to be a lot easier. And keep in mind to always remember to celebrate the small victories! Every little win is a step towards overall winning. So, keep going with that! Keep going with your studies because the fresh and bright light at the end of the road is truly worth all the hardships in your studies!

Tracking your progress can definitely help you understand how good or bad you’re doing in keeping up with your study schedule. That’s why you need to check the “Status” calendar a lot. In order to do that, you need to stay constant with recording your studies, but that I really mean check it every other day. Making sure that you’re always remembering to track stuff like reading, reviewing, doing homework, completing additional questions, and everything else that’s related to your studies.
