The English language is not only interesting and challenging to learn, but also an important and useful tool for individuals not only to make substantial contributions to humanity but also to achieve business success. It is, therefore, beneficial for us to keep improving our English proficiency while using English to make our contributions and jokes. To many, the origin of the English language is a captivating tale of centuries-long struggles filled with remarkable individuals and events providing insight into how languages develop, evolve, and change. However, the history of English is complex, with the language being profoundly influenced by invading Germanic-speaking tribes, the Vikings speaking Norse, the Roman Empire, as well as extensive and continuous borrowing and merging with the romantic European languages.
