In this article, a comprehensive analysis of the English language services industry in Adelaide was conducted. A large pool of online reviews associated with immigration agents, migration consultants, and student visa consultants was drawn from review websites and web search engines. A total of 1,132 reviews relating to 1,095 English language services were analyzed. The findings indicated a concentration of English language services in Adelaide, while a relatively large portion of positive reviews was reported. The analysis of the reviews and the discussion revealed the trends and implications that affected the English language services industry and relevant stakeholders.

A comprehensive list of English services was formulated using Google, utilizing search strings including Translation English, translation services, English language services, and professional English specialists in Adelaide. After the websites of all the identified companies were studied, ten (10) different kinds of service providers were noted. A framework, formulated based on the experience of the authors, was applied to compare the different companies. The framework includes (a) a clear and user-friendly internet site, (b) a good variety of service provision, (c) approaches provided to handling short time frames, (d) customer support, and (e) a solid status in the field. Based on the framework, recommendations are presented in relation to the strengths and weaknesses of the different experts.
