A spell checker can catch a grammatically incorrect but otherwise coherent sentence, then suggest a change that would alter the meaning, or a grammar checking program might suggest altering an idiom or regional dialect to standard English, when the former would be more appropriate in context. These types of errors are difficult to locate, and while it is important to teach students to recognize where they have made errors, it is also important to provide quick feedback, so that they can see the right way to do it and why it is the right way without getting frustrated and spending an hour on one sentence. This is where AI has the potential to surpass the capabilities of human educators. With the right programming, an AI can locate many types of errors that a student might miss, and do so quickly and without judgement. An AI program can be available 24/7, and can generate a vast variety of responses to a single error, so that the student can see many examples of how to improve. This can all be done with the understanding that no student writes in exactly the same way as another, and that there is often more than one way to write something correctly. A well-designed AI program can adapt to the needs of an individual student, tracking their progress and adjusting the level of feedback given. Such a program could be an invaluable asset to educators and students alike.

Concerning the complexity of writing an essay in the field of natural language processing, learning the implementations of various features of AI, going too complex deep learning systems and intricate neural architectures just to improve the quality of the essay was actually a bit off the courses. But for further works, it was expected that we could somehow implement AI for essay editing in a real setting.
