Secondly, what is PHP? This is a well-known script language designed for web development. It can be used with a different OS and is compatible with most of the servers that exist today. This is very useful for web developers. So again, I have to quest more information to find out the step-by-step method to creating a poll using PHP. This information can be found on the net and I can put this into a guide. Step-by-step guide to creating a poll using PHP sounds nice. This will require a bit of copying to Microsoft Word too. Step-by-step guide would be to create an Access and Microsoft Word document. Save the files and start to experiment with some codes. Here, I can use print screens and save them into the Word document. This will enable me to see the outcome and compare it to using another method to create a poll.

This is my introduction and research thoughts about the research project on creating a poll and PHP. 10th January 2006. Well, I’m thinking the best way to tackle this project is to create a poll on a subject which is popular. I will create the poll in two ways, using different programs: Dreamweaver and PHP. This will enable an honest result to see which program is the best to create a poll. So, this project requires a bit of research on a subject which is how to create a poll. I will have to quest around to see which method is the best to use, using tables or not using tables. So, a visit to w3schools will give me an answer to that method and the various other attributes to creating a poll. This will have to be recorded or copied to Microsoft Word.

In this academic journal, the authors discuss the existing healthcare models in regards to those with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse disorder. They begin by stating that those with both a diagnosis of mental illness and drug/alcohol addiction have a higher rate of physical diseases due to the substance use, and often times the physical ailment is what leads to the patient seeking treatment. Consequently, they are treated in general medical settings rather than psychiatric ones. This often leads to the issue in identifying the primary diagnosis and treatment tends to focus on the addiction to resolve the psychiatric issues. In many cases it is not successful and with relapse can worsen the mental illness. The authors use information from various countries throughout the world and how each of their healthcare systems are effecting these dual diagnosis patients. They mention how tough it would be to recreate a whole new system of care specifically for mental illness and addiction patients and suggest modifying current systems to be more inclusive of specialized care for these patients. This journal will serve useful when comparing different current healthcare systems for dual diagnosis patients.

4. Tips for Writing an Effective MLA Annotated Bibliography

In its simplest terms, an annotated bibliography provides a brief yet critical account of what has been written on a particular topic. The critical assessment of each source should form the bulk of the annotation. This must be done in an intellectual manner. Remember, the function of the annotation is to inform others of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited. Step one will assist you in this.

An effective annotation goes like this: Identification of the author or authors in the case of more than one author and identification of the complete title. The title may be a translated or paraphrased one. Information about the publication in which the material may be found. This may include the name of the publisher and the date of publication.

First, you need to know what an annotation is. An annotation is more than just a brief summary of an article, book, website, or other type of publication. An annotation should give enough information to make a reader decide whether to read the complete work. In other words, if the reader were exploring the same topic as you, is this material useful and if so, why?

5. Conclusion

The annotated bibliography is a crucial natural development in the process of researching. Documents of any kind relate in some way to the topic you are researching and can serve you in varying degrees. Just as the student has put a substantial amount of time into the research portion of an assignment, so too does he need to tie that research back to the assignment in a neatly packaged way. Looking at how much time was wasted skimming through sources to decipher whether it had anything to do with the assignment is a little disheartening. There were too many sources that were passed by, which upon further inspection probably had something to do with the assignment. The annotated bibliography allows the student to take a good look at the sources at hand, compare them to one another, and selectively choose the ones that would best serve his purpose. By recording a concise description and evaluation of the source, the student is forced to take a close look at the source and understand what it really offers. During this process the best sources commonly stand out quite clearly. This is an experience I recently had, while researching the wages that unions are able to attain for their members. What I found was that this topic could be approached by a variety of angles and would be best served by information from the government or other credible sources. A comparison of the content and usefulness of three sources is the logical next step. This made it blatantly obvious that the two best sources were statistical reports from the US Department of Labor, and the best information was located at the. It is a little frustrating to say, but had I been more thorough in evaluating the sources before, I wouldn’t have wasted my time gather information from an article or interview, the would have been less useful.
